Spaulding Awards Day

Wednesday, May 22nd is Awards Day at Spaulding Elementary. Students who have earned A or A-B Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance for the year, or other special awards will receive them at their grade level Assembly. 5th Grade will be at 8:45 AM. 3rd Grade will be at 10:00 AM. 4th Grade will be at 1:30 PM. Parents are welcome to attend.

Celebration Day

Celebration Day is Friday, May 17th! This is a day filled with fun activities to celebrate our students hard work all year long! They will enjoy inflatables, games, cotton candy, snow cones, dunking teachers in the dunk tank and much more! Students need to wear their class t-shirt and socks & tennis shoes. Please have them put sun screen on for the outdoor events and come ready for a great time! We are in need of donations of water bottles or juice boxes. If you can help, please send them in to the office.

SES participates in the Perennial Math Competition

Congratulations to our fourth and fifth grade students who participated in the Perennial Math Competition on Sunday afternoon at St. Bernard/Elmwood Place High School. This is the first time Spaulding has participated in the event. Mrs. Fritz coached a fourth grade team, and Ms. Fischer coached two fifth grade teams. We are very proud of the dedication and hard work that went into preparing. We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Healey who placed in the top three on the parent math test. Great job to Mrs. Fritz and Ms. Fischer for winning the teacher competition.
