- Hello! I am Mrs. Herrera and I will be teaching a third grade language arts class this year. During the rest of my day, I work as the K-5 Literacy Specialist. I am excited for this to be my 20th year of teaching in Goshen! I graduated from Ohio University in 1995, then began teaching 5th grade shortly after. I taught 5th grade for two years, then moved to third grade when the position became available. I spent 13 years teaching third graders. I have served as literacy specialist for the last five years and jumped at the opportunity to return to the classroom to teach a class each day.
